Tata Nexon Becomes India's Best Selling Car
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) announced a dual milestone for its flagship SUV, the Nexon. It has become India's No. 1 selling car in September 2025 and features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The Nexon pioneered the safety revolution in India, being the first car to receive a 5-star safety rating. It remains the only SUV with dual 5-star ratings from both GNCAP and BNCAP.
"The Nexon has become the No. 1 selling car in India in September 2025—a major milestone that reflects the trust and preference of customers across the country," said Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd.
