Juventus defender Daniele Rugani could earn himself a new contract, as he's now expected to play a key role at the back.
The 31-year-old is the club's longest-serving outfielder, having been on the club's books since 2013, and joined the club's ranks in 2015 following his time at Empoli.
Rugani spent the previous campaign on loan at Ajax, but they opted against keeping him permanently after the departure of manager Francesco Farioli, who supported him at the club.
After rejoining Juventus, Rugani added depth at the back, especially after Renato Veiga's departure. His chance came when Gleison Bremer got injured.
Author's summary: Rugani may get a new contract.
