MoDOT Conducts Annual Winter Weather Drill
Missouri residents may have noticed plow trucks on the roads as the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) conducted its annual winter weather drill to prepare for the upcoming snowy conditions.
The exercise involved nearly 2,400 plow operators across the state, including plow crews, phone operations, and other winter operations personnel, who practiced a simulated statewide forecast with activated emergency communications systems.
Amy Crawford, MoDOT area engineer, explained the focus of the training.
