Concerns Over the Tech Council's 'Digital Embassies' Plan
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is set to meet with US President Donald Trump to finalize significant big tech investment deals in artificial intelligence (AI) and data centers.
In preparation for this meeting, Scott Farquhar, co-founder of Atlassian and chair of the Tech Council of Australia, has proposed making Australia a "regional AI hub".
Farquhar held up Singapore and Estonia as examples of how agile regulation can attract foreign capital and transform nations into digital powerhouses.
