Landmark Plan to Boost Fresno's West Side
Fresno city leaders have adopted the West Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan, a roadmap for guiding responsible and equitable development west of Highway 99.
The plan focuses on neighborhoods north of Clinton Avenue and east of Garfield Avenue, setting goals for community improvements, including:
- Traffic and public transportation upgrades
- Pedestrian and bicycle enhancements
- Identification of sites for future residential and commercial development
The plan aims at guiding responsible and equitable development in one of the city’s fastest-growing regions.
