Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon
Despite a ceasefire, Israeli airstrikes killed 1 and injured 7 in Lebanon, according to Lebanese authorities.
The Israeli army launched 12 airstrikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting several areas, including the southern town of Bnaafoul and the town of Khirbet Dweir.
- Sidon district was targeted by two Israeli attacks.
- Khirbet Dweir between Sarafand and Baysariyeh was also targeted.
- An area between Roumine and Houmine in the Nabatieh district was bombed by Israeli fighter jets.
- An Israeli drone hit the town of Blida in the Marjayoun district.
Lebanon will gradually increase the number of troops deployed south of the Litani River to 10,000 by the end of 2025, President Aoun says.
