Southwest Airlines has taken delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX with an updated cabin featuring new seats with in-seat power and larger overhead bins.

Each seat has in-seat power with both USB-A and USB-C ports, providing an elevated onboard experience for customers.

The new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft features RECARO R2 BL3710 economy class seats with a multi-adjustable headrest cushion, an ergonomically enhanced seat bottom, and lumbar support.

Beginning in late 2026, Southwest will modernize more than half of their Boeing 737-700s, adding in-seat power.
