To help the faithful overcome a divided approach to faith, the church can restore the feast of Christ the King to its original date, the last Sunday of October, before All Saints.
Pope Leo XIII urged the faithful, especially those in public life, not to live
“divided lives”, compartmentalizing faith or excluding it from shaping life areas.
Originally, Pope Pius XI instituted the feast in 1925 as a response to growing secularism and nationalism.
