No. 11 Cleveland improved their regular season streak to 60 wins, defeating No. 21 Southeast Raleigh.
A medical emergency stopped the game for over 30 minutes when Krisjon Clark was injured. According to Cleveland coach Scott Riley, Clark was in stable condition at the hospital.
"I was ready to walk away and finish this on Monday," Riley said. "They wanted to finish it tonight."
Clark was hit by two defenders while trying to catch a short pass with 5:39 left in the third quarter. He was not breathing initially, but a defibrillator detected a faint pulse, and he became more alert before being taken to the hospital.
Coach Riley let his team decide whether to postpone the game, and they chose to finish it that night.
