Honoring Darren McFadden
Arkansas football has honored Darren McFadden by adding a patch to the No. 5 jersey.
The athletics department announced in July that McFadden's number would be honored, not retired, with a patch featuring his silhouette and initials, D.M.
- The patch is worn by defensive tackle Cam Ball and wide receiver Ja'Kayden Ferguson.
- McFadden was honored on the field during Arkansas' game against Texas A&M.
“It's a conversation piece,”
said McFadden, the Doak Walker Award winner and Heisman Trophy runner-up in 2006 and 2007.
