Emman Atienza, the 19-year-old daughter of Filipino TV personality Kim Atienza, has died, her family announced.

Her mother, Felicia Atienza, shared the news on Instagram, asking others for "compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life." Emman was known for her authenticity and openness about her mental health journey, which helped many feel less alone.
According to Los Angeles County medical records, Atienza died at a home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, with the cause of death listed as suicide.
Her family hopes that people will carry forward the qualities she lived by, including compassion, courage, and kindness, to honor her memory.
