President Mahama Announces New University and Hospital in Damongo
President John Dramani Mahama has announced that Damongo will host a Catholic Science and Technology University and a new regional hospital.
The two facilities will boost higher education and healthcare delivery in the northern sector and strengthen the government's commitment to expanding access to science, technology, and medical training.
The initial funding for the proposed university would come from a grant promised by the President of China
The project is part of the administration's broader vision of advancing education and innovation through strategic partnerships, announced during a courtesy call by Most Reverend Philip Naameh, the Catholic Metropolitan Archbishop of Tamale.
