The Rebels' chances of earning a spot in the College Football Playoff took a big leap with a road win against the Sooners on Saturday.
Before the game, 8 Ole Miss's players and coaches had about 50 percent chance of making the College Football Playoff, but after the win, their chances increased significantly.
The Rebels' 34-26 win against No. 13 Oklahoma has put them in a great spot to make the playoff, with one of the easiest schedules among SEC teams vying for a playoff spot.

Beating the Sooners wasn’t easy, though.
Ole Miss will host South Carolina, The Citadel and Florida over the next three weeks before making the short trip south to land of cowbells to play Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl game.
