A haunted farmhouse that has attracted ghost hunters worldwide and inspired the horror movie The Conjuring is up for auction on Halloween.
The 8.5-acre property was purchased by self-described medium Jacqueline Nuñez in 2022 for $1.525 million. Nuñez turned the 18th-century farmhouse into a ghost tourism business, offering overnight stays and paranormal hunts.
However, by August 2023, Nuñez was surrounded by controversy after firing her property manager, claiming the spirit of former owner John Arnold told her the worker was stealing. This led to a legal battle over back pay, with ex-employees accusing Nuñez of mistreatment.
The sale is happening on Halloween.
The property's dark history and paranormal activity have made it a popular destination for ghost hunters and fans of The Conjuring.
