According to the Santa Monica Police Department, officers responded to the 1300 block of Wilshire Boulevard at 9:15 p.m. on Friday night. Preliminary information indicates that the vehicle was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Wilshire Boulevard when it drove onto the sidewalk and struck the four pedestrians.
