UPDATE: Second Person Shot in Abbotsford
A 68-year-old man was killed in a shooting incident on Ridgeview Drive on Monday morning.
Gunfire rang out in Abbotsford once again, for the second time in less than three days, with the Abbotsford Police Department responding to a fatal shooting on Monday morning.
- The incident occurred at 9:22 a.m. in the 31300 block of Ridgeview Drive.
- A 68-year-old male had suffered a fatal gunshot wound while in his car.
- Three nearby schools were placed under a temporary shelter-in-place protocol, which has since been lifted.
A significant police presence will remain in the area throughout the day supporting the ongoing investigation.
