Elections Yukon: Conducting the Count
In the 2025 territorial elections, Yukon electors will receive two ballots, clearly distinguishable and separated by perforation.
According to Chief Electoral Officer Maxwell Harvey, one traditional ballot will list the electoral district and candidates in ballot order, determined by a random draw. The plebiscite ballot will have a different design, containing the plebiscite question and yes or no options, as well as a blue stripe.
- Two ballots will be provided to electors: a regular ballot and a plebiscite ballot.
- The regular ballot will list candidates and their party or independent status.
- The plebiscite ballot will contain the plebiscite question and yes or no options.
Neither of the ballots themselves contain information identifying the voter.
