A for-profit affordable housing provider owned by a borough council has reported a £1.2m profit, in what it described as an “exceptional” year.
Loddon Homes, owned by Wokingham Borough Council, reported a £1.2m post-tax profit in the year to March 2025, up from a loss of £68,879 the previous year.

Its aims include increasing affordable housing supply, generating income for the council, and delivering housing solutions for high-spending council services. Any savings are then invested back into communities and services throughout the borough.
