Sherwood Park Rams U16 Season Ends in Close Playoff Loss
The Sherwood Park U16 Rams' season came to a close on Saturday, Oct. 25, with a 12-10 loss to the top-ranked Spruce Grove Cougars in the first round of the Capital District Minor Football Association's 12-side Tier 1 Morgan Division.
"We saw four full quarters of football from the team," said U16 Rams head coach Bill Nyszczuk. "That was one of the things that we strived to do.
The team played well together in all aspects of the game, including special teams, offense, and defense. The Cougars opened the scoring with a deep pass that led to a touchdown at Clarke Park in Edmonton.
