The Dell Vineyard in Wales has announced a record grape harvest in 2025, marking a significant milestone for the vineyard founded by Lucy and Dan Alford.
The vineyard, located in Raglan, completed its 2025 harvest with a total of 14 tonnes of grapes, a substantial increase from the previous year's yield. The warm and dry spring and summer of 2025 produced high-quality fruit with excellent sugar and acid balance, promising a great vintage.
The Dell Vineyard was established in 2021 by the husband-and-wife team, who turned their passion for wine into a reality. Lucy, an intensive care nurse, and Dan, a former graphic designer, discovered their love for wine during their honeymoon in 2013 while traveling through the Southern Hemisphere.
"This harvest feels like a real turning point for The Dell," said Dan, who is also the vineyard manager.
