Trump Suggests Rep. Ilhan Omar Return to Somalia
President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, stating that Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar should return to Somalia.
This was in response to Omar's video where she declared Somalia her home while speaking in Somali. In the video, Omar said:
Somalia is our home. We always think about Somalia.
Trump reacted to this by posting "She should go back!" on Truth Social. Omar is a naturalized citizen, and Minnesota, where she represents, has a large Somali population due to resettlement.
