Nantwich friends who pedalled from London to Asia raise more than £5k

Nantwich Friends Complete Epic Cycling Challenge

A group of young cyclists from Nantwich have completed a 3,184km fundraising ride from England to Asia in 26 days, raising over £5,700 for charity.

James Redwood, Will Rowlands, Kieron Lawton, and Ewan Davies cycled from Buckingham Palace to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, accompanied by their support van driver, Jude Metz.

Their challenge supported Macmillan Cancer Support and Alzheimer's Society, but was not without its setbacks, including having their support van towed away and being denied entry to the Turkish border.

They had to cycle into the night and were stranded without food, kit or camping gear for four days.

Author's summary: Nantwich friends raise £5k cycling from London to Asia.
