A fire destroyed the Belvedere Club building in Charlevoix Township, Michigan, early Thursday, with arson suspected.
The Charlevoix Township Fire Department responded to the scene around 3:15 a.m. and found the building fully engulfed in flames. It took about an hour to put out the fire.
No one was inside the building at the time of the fire, as it is closed for the season. The building is used for summertime gatherings and events.
A 44-year-old man from Charlevoix Township has been arrested on suspicion of arson. The incident is under investigation.
