Fighting Tigers Protest Playoff Denial
The Ironton Fighting Tigers football team and supporters protested outside the Ironton School Board office on Friday morning.
They were denied a spot in the playoffs by the Ohio High School Athletic Association on Thursday.
We are out here fighting, for our right to be able to play in the state playoffs.
According to senior Zayne Williams, the team's running back and linebacker, the decision was unfair and affected the kids.
The team is still allowed to play their regular season games.
