Benz Hui Dies At 76 from Cancer-Related Organ Failure
Veteran Hong Kong actor Benz Hui has passed away at the age of 76 after suffering cancer-related organ failure.
Known affectionately as “Benz Gor” or the “King of Supporting Roles”, he passed away peacefully on October 28, surrounded by his loved ones.
According to Hong Kong media reports, his passing came just a day after reports surfaced that he had been critically ill, prompting several celebrities to rush to the hospital to see him.
Celebrities including Bosco Wong, Charmaine Sheh, Dayo Wong, Raymond Lam, Michael Miu and his wife Jaime Chik visited him in the hospital.
Movie legend Chow Yun Fat also made an appearance at the hospital early that morning.
Benz Hui was one of Hong Kong’s most beloved and respected character actors.
