City of London Corporation Accelerates Net Zero Strategy
The City of London Corporation is moving forward with the second phase of decarbonisation works to accelerate its journey to net zero.
Following the successful delivery of energy efficiency projects across seven iconic buildings, Vital Energi has begun the next phase of works.
Together, both phases will deliver annual carbon savings of over 1,500 tonnes and financial savings of £1.25m, contributing to the City Corporation's strategy to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2027 and 2040.
Bespoke decarbonisation plans have been developed for each building, incorporating the latest renewable technologies and energy conservation measures.
