Christian Ehler Appointed Rapporteur for FP10 and Competitiveness Fund
Germany's Christian Ehler has been appointed lead rapporteur to steer the next EU research Framework Programme, FP10, through the European Parliament.
The European People's Party (EPP) MEP will also serve as co-rapporteur for the European Competitiveness Fund (ECF), reflecting the "tight connection" between the two programmes promised by the European Commission.
The German MEP will lead Parliament's negotiations on the next EU research Framework Programme and the ECF.
