Relocation of Federal Court Cases from Pikeville
An order issued by Chief U.S. District Judge David Bunning has led to the relocation of federal court trials and hearings from Pikeville.
The Pikeville federal courthouse currently serves Pike, Floyd, Johnson, Knott, Letcher, Magoffin, and Martin counties.
- Cases from Pike, Floyd, Knott, and Letcher counties will be reassigned to the London federal courthouse.
- Cases from Johnson, Magoffin, or Martin counties will be assigned to the Ashland federal courthouse.
All pending and new cases will be reassigned after December.
