The Serie A title race continues to tighten after Inter and AC Milan both secured wins on Sunday, closing the gap on league leaders Napoli.
Inter struck first in the 16th minute when Piotr Zielinski converted a superb Hakan Calhanoglu corner with a well-placed volley against Hellas Verona.
However, Verona responded just before half-time as Gift Orban set up Giovane, who fired a thunderous right-footed strike into the far corner to equalise.
In the sixth minute of added time, Nicolo Barella’s dangerous cross flicked off Martin Frese and into his own net, handing Inter a dramatic 2-1 win.
