K-pop group NewJeans has lost their court battle against management agency Ador, according to the Korea Herald.
The group sought to terminate their contract due to the firing of former CEO Min Hee-jin and accusations of bullying.
The fact that Min was removed from her position as CEO, does not in itself mean that a managerial vacuum was created or that Ador became incapable of fulfilling its contractual obligations.
The court also found the bullying accusations to be insufficient grounds for termination, ruling in favor of Ador on Thursday, October 30.
This decision means the group will remain in their contract until 2029.
